End Shift, Confirm Cash Drop

Select the Shift tab.

The Shift page opens, displaying END SHIFT DETAILS.

If the cash collected physically and the system calculated cash match:

Select Confirm Drop.

The system calculates any variance and displays the results in a Short/Over field. If there’s no variance the field shows a zero balance.

Select End Shift.

The shift is ended and a confirmation message appears.

If the cash collected physically is more or less than the system calculated cash:

Edit the Actual Drop Amount to match physically collected cash.

Select Confirm Drop.

The system calculates the variance and projects the amount Short (less cash collected than system calculated amount) or Over (more cash collected than the calculated amount).

Select End Shift.

The shift is ended and a confirmation message appears.
