Menu Categories

Select Products.

Under Menus, locate the option for Menu Categories.

Create a new menu category by providing a suitable name and ensuring the code is unique.

• Link the created menu categories to respective menus based on product criteria.

• Ensure the menu associated with the sub-category is marked as active

Follow the same process as creating menu categories above.

• Assign a name and a unique code for the sub-category.

• Specify a parent category under which the sub-category should appear.

• Ensure the menu associated with the sub-category is marked as active

Select the product you want to link.

• On the left side of the screen, select the appropriate menu category to link with the product.

• Click on Save.

Access the product screen from the product list.

• Click on the Select button next to the product of interest.

• Click on Actions and then Link Menu

Choose the relevant menu from the list provided

• Select the appropriate menu category that has been configured for the selected menu.

• Follow the same process to link the sub-menu categories to the products

On the POS register, the UI will be seen like the images shown on the right

Note: Please ensure that Menu categories are exclusively utilized to display on the POS UI. Going forward, we will prioritize menu categories functionality on Android and web register.
