Payment Types Setup

Available payment types for a property are configured at the time of system installation, but can be revised. At some properties the process of revising payment types or setting up accounting details for payment types may be called “payment terminal” setup.
On the home page of the HotelKey administration web application (admin.hotelkeyapp.com ), select the property for payment setup. Available administrative options for the property populate. The property pettings panel loads, and the sidebar menu populates. Expand the Property Data section and select the Payment Types link. |  Property Data Menu Expanded - Payment Types Link |
The Payment Types panel loads. Select the applicable payment type to edit it. |  Payment Types Panel |
The Edit Payment Type panel loads for the selected payment type, open to the View Payment tab. Note that the payment type Code and Name fields are disabled, these fields cannot be changed. Make desired changes by selecting applicable toggle controls to turn options on or off. Note that changes are saved immediately, there is no separate Save link. |  Payment Type - View Payment Tab |
To modify accounting settings, select the Accounting Setup tab. Make desired changes. Select Save Changes for GL Accounting to save changes. |  Payment Type - Accounting Setup Tab |
