Cancellation Policy Setup

Select the property on HK Home and click on EventKey Manage Events.

The Administration area opens to the Space Type page.

Select Cancellation Policies from the Policies menu.

The Cancellation Policies page loads.

Colour coding: Policies color coded green at the left are active, those color coded gray are in draft form and inactive. In the example shown all policies in the list are active.

Select the Add New tab.

The Add Cancellation Policy wizard will be activated, open to step 1, Basic Data.

Note: If Active (upper right corner of the popup) is toggled on by default for the new policy. To create a draft policy that is not available for selection, toggle Active off.

Enter the applicable Name and unique Code identifier for the new Cancellation policy.

Select the applicable cancellation Charge Type.

Enter any desired notes in the Add Description box.

When all entries are complete select Next.

Select the “+” to add a new cancellation policy period.

Here is where different cancellation fee amounts can be designated for various cancellation advance notice time periods.

Complete Cancellation Period Card

Select Save

Note: The save button will be activated when all the information is added to the fields provided. .

The policy will be added.

Select Save to confirm.
