Deposit Policy Setup

Select the property on HK Home and click on EventKey Manage Events.

The Administration area opens to the Space Type page.

Select Deposit Policies from the Policies menu.

The Deposit Policies page will be displayed.

Select Add New.

The Add Advance Deposit Terms popup screen will appear.

Complete the Advance Deposit Terms section.

Deposit Term Rules:

Select the blue Add Rule Button

The Deposit Rules will appear for completion.

Select Save.

In the Deposit Term Rules section, select Add Rule.

A rule creation row populates, as shown in the image at right.

Use the plus and minus sign controls to enter the applicable number of Deposit Lead Days.

Select the applicable Date Type.

Select the Type of deposit, either Amount for a specific dollar amount or Percentage (not shown) for a percentage of the overall booking bill.

Note: If Percentage is selected for Type the Value field updates to accept a percentage instead of a dollar amount.

Enter the applicable Amount or Percentage value associated with the selected Type.

Select Add Rule and complete the same process to add more rules to this deposit policy.

Use the delete icon at the far right side of each row to remove any rows added by mistake.

The popup will close and a success message will be displayed, indicating that a new Deposit Policy has been added to the list.
