Accessing and Creating Discounts

The discounts screen displays a list of all existing discounts that have been created. From this screen, you can review, edit, or add new discounts.

To create a new event goal:

1. Navigate to the Discounts screen.

2. Click the Add New button (blue) located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Add Event Discount

When the Add Event Discount screen appears, complete the following fields to set up a new discount:

1. Name

Enter a clear and descriptive name for the discount.
Example: December Space Rental Discount

2. Code

Provide a unique code or identifier for the discount.

3. Applies To

Use the dropdown to select whether the discount applies to a Space, Package, or both.
Note: To select both, click Space first, then click Package.

4. Active

Set the toggle to ON if the discount should be active.

5. Allow Editing

If the discount amount can be edited when applied to the folio, set the toggle to ON.

6. Periods

• Start Date: Enter the first date the discount will be available.

• End Date: Enter the last date the discount will be available.

7. Type

Use the dropdown to select whether the discount is a Percentage or a Flat Fee.

8. Value

Enter the discount amount.

Tip: You can add additional periods by clicking the blue Add button.

When all information has been entered, click the blue Save button to create the discount.

Confirmation

After saving, you will be returned to the Discounts listing screen. Your newly created discount will now appear in the list and can be selected when applying discounts to the folio.

🔄 Inactivating a Discount

To deactivate a discount:

1. From the Discount listing screen, locate and select the discount you wish to inactivate.

2. In the discount header, click the Active toggle to switch it off.

Once inactivated, the discount will no longer appear in the Discount listing and will not be available for selection on the folio.

🔁 Reactivating a Discount

To reactivate a discount:

1. Navigate to the Discount listing screen.

2. Use the filter option to display All or Inactive discounts.

   • Active discounts are marked with a green sidebar.

   • Inactive discounts are marked with a grey sidebar.

3. Locate the inactive discount you wish to reactivate and click to open it.

4. In the discount header, toggle the Inactive switch to ON.

The discount is now reactivated and will appear in the main Discount listing screen, making it available for use again.
