Occupancy Forecast

The Occupancy Forecast Report provides a snapshot of expected occupancy levels for a hotel during a specific time period. This report helps property staff identify trends and patterns in occupancy in order to make informed decisions about revenue management and resource allocation.

Date Range: Up to 365 dates in the future, or 365 dates in the past

The report includes the following columns:

Description

Date

date for which the occupancy is being forecasted

Day of Week

day of the week for the date being forecasted

Confirmed Revenue

total revenue generated from confirmed reservations

Allocation Revenue

total revenue generated from allocated but unconfirmed reservations

Total Revenue

total of confirmed revenue + allocation revenue

Total Rooms

total number of rooms available in the hotel

Sold Rooms

total number of rooms that have been sold

Down Rooms

total number of rooms that are currently out of order or unavailable

Available Rooms

total number of rooms that are currently available for sale

Rooms Sold Excluding Complimentary and House Rooms

rooms sold for the date excluding COMP rooms and HOUSE USE rooms

OOO

number of rooms that are out of order

Group Allocations

total number of rooms allocated for group reservations

Group Rooms Picked Up

total number of rooms that have been picked up by groups

Arrivals

number of expected arrivals on the date being forecasted

Guaranteed

number of expected arrivals with guaranteed reservations

Non-Guaranteed

number of expected arrivals without guaranteed reservations

Stay Overs

number of guests who are expected to extend their stay beyond the date being forecasted

Departures

number of guests who are expected to check out on the date being forecasted

ADR

average daily rate for all occupied rooms

ADR Without Complimentary and House Use Rooms

average daily rate for the specified date, excluding COMP and HOUSE USE rooms

Occupancy Including Down, Complimentary and House Use

occupancy including down (out of order), complimentary and house use rooms

Occupancy Excluding Down, Complimentary and House Use

occupancy excluding down (out of order), complimentary and house use rooms

Occupancy Excluding Down, Including Complimentary and House Use

occupancy excluding down (out of order), including complimentary and house use rooms

Occupancy

percentage of sold rooms out of the total available rooms

Occupancy with Down Rooms

percentage of sold rooms out of the total available rooms,  including down rooms

RevPAR with Down Rooms

revenue generated per available room,  including down rooms

RevPAR without Down Rooms

revenue generated per available room,  excluding down rooms

Day Use Rooms

number of rooms used for day use only

Day Use Group Rooms

number of group rooms used for day use only

Comp Reservations

number of complimentary reservations for the date being forecasted
