Rate Group Summary

The Rate Group Summary Report provides an overview of the property’s revenue performance based on different rate groups (pricing plans or rate codes). This report helps hotel management analyze the effectiveness of pricing strategies, identify trends, and optimize revenue, enabling management to assess the performance of their pricing strategies, identify high- and low-performing rate groups, and make informed decisions to optimize revenue.

By analysing this report, properties can adjust their pricing, promotions, and packages to maximise occupancy and revenue.

Date Range: 365 days from the past to current

Column Name

Description

Date

specific date for which the data is being presented

Day of Week

day of the week corresponding to the date in the report (e.g., Monday, Tuesday)

Rate Group

pricing plan or rate code associated with a reservation, which may include standard rates, promotional rates or special packages

Revenue

total revenue generated by the reservations for each rate group on the specific date

Stays

total number of room stays associated with each rate group on the specific date

ADR (Average Daily Rate)

average rate charged for a room associated with each rate group on the specific date - calculated by dividing the total revenue by the number of stays

Occupancy Contribution

percentage of available rooms occupied by guests under each rate group on the specific date

RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) Contribution

percentage contribution of each rate group's RevPAR generated by each rate group on the specific date -  divided by the number of available rooms
