Room Type Summary

The Room Type Summary report displays a summary of room types and their performance during a specified date range. This report helps property staff identify trends and patterns in room types in order to make informed decisions about promotions, revenue management and resource allocation.
Date Range: The report can render the data for up to 90 days
The report includes the following columns:
Column Name | Description |
Date | date for which the room type summary is being generated |
Day of Week | day of the week for the date being summarized |
Room Type Name | name of the room type being summarized |
Room Type Code | unique code assigned to the room type |
Total Rooms | total number of rooms available for the room type being summarized |
Vacant Rooms | number of rooms for the room type that are currently vacant and available for sale |
Down | number of rooms for the room type that are currently out of order or unavailable |
Sold | number of rooms for the room type that have been sold |
Room Revenue | total revenue generated from the sale of the room type during the specified date range |
ADR | average daily rate for the room type |
Occupancy | percentage of sold rooms out of the total available rooms for the room type |
RevPAR with Down Rooms | revenue generated per available room for the room type, including down rooms |
RevPAR without Down Rooms | revenue generated per available room for the room type, excluding down rooms |
